Olivia and I went to the Lou Zoo with Grandma on Friday.

Monkey! My favorite!

The monkey in the picture below actually charged Olivia. I guess he didn't like her tapping on the glass. She started dancing around excitedly and saying, "Monkey scary!"

This time, she crawled right up into his lap.

Yeah, Santa's not so scary anymore.

OK with Santa

Olivia has always had a wild fear of Santa. Thanks to season passes, we've been able to acclimate her to Santa a bit more this summer. On Sunday, we had a breakthrough. She still won't let him hold her, but she will talk to him.

At Daddy's event

Olivia and I attended a vocations event that Daddy was involved in this week. Olivia went outside to walk with Sr. Joseph.

Olivia was sporting a top-of-the-head ponytail for Pentecost (and a red dress with a drool spot down the middle...dang pacifier!)
