Gone fishin'

Last Saturday was a very nice day for February, so Olivia went fishing with Grandma, Grandpa, and cousins Trey and Carter. She enjoyed the experience.
First, there was worm-gazing.

Then holding a fishing pole.

Finally got a bite! Olivia watched as Grandpa released the fish back to the lake. It was too small.

Ended the day with an evening hayride. Fun!

Spring-ish

It's been cold and dark forever, it seems. So when the temps rose into the 50s this weekend, it felt downright tropical. We took Olivia to the park for some kite flying.

She was pretty good at it.

She also had some time to ride her new "big flyer".

Lately, she enjoys hats.

And also, new hairdos. She insisted on the tiny braids and beads and had to sit still while I did it.

Today, I took the kids outside for some sun and air.

They like to run and jump into the swings and play "birds".
